Very good learning tool. My grandchild’s reading tutor played the game with him and they both had a good time while strengthening his skills. She is now sharing with other clients. I am going to order the same game again to share with others
Such a fun game! We’ve been playing it non stop. The biggest bonus is knowing there is learning involved in such a fun seamless way.
Such a wonderful purchase for summer! Our family has had fun playing together. But moreso it has been a great learning tool to keep our kindergarten grad excited about reading and prepared for 1st grade.
It's been great,my grandson was already familiar with the squishy land game so it was fun to play with him
These expansion packs are so useful. They help to keep the game alive beyond the grade 2 level. My granddaughters are at different levels and it is fun to play the same game with each playing at their skill level.
Reading + Fun = total win!!!
I bought these games to help my granddaughters with their math skills, not knowing if they would like them or not. They absolutely love them! They come to me asking to play the games. Math + fun = total win!!
The Alpha Arc is fun for the kids to use and more durable than paper versions.
Brought the squishies as a surprise gift to my granddaughter on visiting day at sleep away camp. They were a big hit-she was thrilled!
I like the three games, and my students do as well. I choose to divide words into syllables differently than you do; some of the cards I have eliminated from the deck simply because they don't follow the rules as the Barton System teaches them. Not a big deal...we simply play with fewer cards!
I love, love, love Squishy Land and how it incorporates several learning levels. The Poppers Farm & Food is great fort littles but once they learn... or if they already know... those objects there is no challenge for them. Maybe if it was printed on both sides and had an option for a more challenging game as they progress like bingo or more challenging patterns.
Really liked the format of this game and the squishy characters are fun for kids! It’s a great learning tool!
We have enjoyed playing this game as a family. My son struggles with reading and this has been game changing for him. Also his aunt with teaches elementary approves! Getting 3 more games to keep helping him!
My son loves this game! It has enough challenges to keep him engaged for a long time. He asks to play it over other games. Even I love the squishy player pieces. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the board is already coming apart at the seam. We've only played about 5 times. I've not had this problem with other board games.
It's a nice fun and fast way to work on sight words. Glad I made the purchase.
My 4 year old LOVES SquishyLand!! I can't wait until our 2 year old is able to play with him. I just ordered the expansion decks so that he can play with his older cousin. My one gripe is that there are so many "go back" cards that it slows the game down too much to hold his attention. To fix that, I just remove several "go back" cards from the deck when we play.
Playing this budgeting game has been a wonderful learning experience for my kids. They had so much fun while building real-life money skills, and I could see their confidence grow as they counted coins, made spending choices, and stayed within a budget. It has been especially beneficial for my daughter, who has dyscalculia. The hands-on practice has helped her better understand the value of money in a fun, low-pressure way, making concepts that were once challenging much easier to grasp.
My grandchildren (3yr & 5yr) love this game. We play with 2 separate level of cards that match their individual abilities so they can play the game together.
We have been using it for a little more than a week, and love it. She asks to play all the games a couple times a day. At first my Granddaughter didn't understand what to do with sounding out the words, but now she does it with no problem. She is understanding the sounds of the letters make words.
The only think that I would like to see is an expansion pack for Sneaky Elves. She knows all the words now. We do still play it for reinforcement of her words.
